In general, Varos pulls LinkedIn Ads benchmark metrics directly from the LinkedIn Ads API, meaning that metrics are normalized across all accounts to ensure accurate benchmarks.

Here's how each one is calculated:

Spend

The total ad spend for the given period

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

CPM

The avg cost per 1,000 impressions

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

CPC

The average cost of a click on your ad.

Clicks include: landing page clicks, page clicks and other chargeable clicks

CTR

The total clicks on your ads over total views

CPL / One Click Leads Cost

The average cost of a lead

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

Engagement Impressions rate

The total engagements on an ad over the total times viewed. Engagement includes like, comment, click, and share.

Cost per conversions

The average cost per unique conversion event. The attribution window is 7 days view and 30 days click.

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

Frequency

The average number of times your ad is displayed to unique users.
