In general, Varos pulls TikTok Ads benchmark metrics directly from the TikTok API, meaning that metrics are normalized across all accounts to ensure accurate benchmarks.

Here's how each one is calculated:

Cost per Conversion

The average cost for each conversion event

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

CPM

The avg cost per 1,000 impressions

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

CPC

The avg cost per click on your ads

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

CTR

The percentage of users who saw your ad and clicked on it

Spend

The total ad spend for the given period

Amounts are normalized to $USD.

Conversion Rate

Conversion rate from TikTok traffic only

P50 Video Views

The number of times your video was played at 50% of its length over the the number of times it was played for at least 2 seconds

Replays are not counted
